Services
Knowledge is free. Work on your own data is a paid service.
Everything we learn about ESAP goes on this site, free of charge. When a company needs that knowledge applied to its own filings, identifiers and plans, we do that as paid work — scoped in writing, priced as a fixed fee, delivered as a document you can hand to your board, your auditor or your filing agent.
ESAP readiness audit
A written review of how your company will look in ESAP. We check your ESEF filing history for validation errors and warnings (using the public index and, where you provide them, the files themselves), the status and consistency of your LEI and entity metadata (name, country, sector, size), and the requirements of your collection body. You receive a report with findings ranked by consequence and a list of fixes you can pass to your filing agent.
For: listed issuers before the 2027 reporting season; advisers preparing a client for a listing.
Written advice
A specific question, answered in writing with the legal basis and our reasoning: "Does this document have to go through our collection body?", "What metadata will ESAP show for us?", "What does the voluntary route require of a company like ours?" Delivered as a memo you can keep.
For: finance, legal and investor-relations teams; auditors and advisers.
Consulting
Longer engagements: designing a pre-submission check process for the reporting season, preparing for voluntary submissions once the 2028 technical standards are known, or building an internal view of your data as ESAP users will see it. Scoped in stages, each with its own deliverable.
For: issuers with several reporting entities; advisers and filing agents serving many clients.
How an engagement works
- You write to us — by email or through the contact form — with your company's LEI and the question or task.
- We reply in writing with a proposed scope, the deliverable, the timeline and a fixed fee. If the task is outside what we do, we say so and, where we can, point you to who does it.
- You confirm in writing. No engagement starts without it.
- We deliver a document. Findings, reasoning, sources and recommended actions. Questions on the deliverable are answered in writing at no extra cost.
What we do not do
- We do not prepare, tag or convert ESEF or other filings, and we do not submit anything on your behalf. Your filing agent or your own team does that; we check and advise.
- We do not issue audit opinions or assurance reports. Our reports are not a substitute for the auditor's work on ESEF compliance where national law requires it.
- We do not give investment recommendations, credit ratings or ESG ratings, and we do not promote companies to investors.
- We do not promise that ESAP will bring you investors. We help you make sure that, when someone looks, the data is right.
Independence and confidentiality
We have no commercial relationship with any filing-software vendor, filing agent or collection body. Files you share with us for an audit are processed on infrastructure in the European Union, used only for the agreed work, and deleted after delivery unless you ask us to keep them. See our privacy policy.
In development: automated pre-submission check
We are building a tool that checks an ESEF file and its ESAP metadata before it goes to the auditor and the collection body, and returns a plain-language list of what to fix. We will open it to a small group of issuers and advisers before the 2027 reporting season, once it has passed our own tests. If you would like to be told when that happens, leave an email address. We will use it for that one purpose.
